Lorna Christiansen

I'm so excited that we've got this blog. Thank you Jim.

I admit to being curious about what everyone has been up to these last few years. I've run into a few of you recently.
  • David Graham and I met 2 or 3 years back and dated a couple times before finding out we were in the same graduating class. We still keep in touch, though we no longer date, maybe it's because he's such a wonderful helpful person, or it's because he's the only one I know who owns a motorcycle and lets me drive it?
  • I ran into Nannette Burnside earlier this year at a business meeting.
  • I also met up again with Alan Ormsby a few months back; we're on the same committee at work.
I currently work for the Health Department in the Children with Special Health Care Needs Bureau. A very interesting job to say the least.

I'm a single mom of three wonderful kids; Quinton 16, Kylee 13, Trevor 9. I don't think I'm going to survive the "My Kids are Learning to Drive" stage.

For some reason I decided working full time, dating, taking care of the house and kids wasn't enough so I also sell Avon in my spare time. I love this job. It's the first time, in my adult life, I've ever had discretionary income that I could spend solely on myself and the feeling is exhilarating.

I've lived around the country. Monterey, CA - San Angelo, TX - Palmyra, NY - Fort Drum, NY - San Antonio, TX and then finally relocated back to SLC in 1998. As some of you may have guessed. . .yes my ex-husband was in the Army. Of all the places I've lived the only place I ever missed was California.

I'm looking forward to reading more about where life has taken all of you.

Time flies

Sheila Lund Hay

Where do I begin......

I cannot believe it has been19 years wow.
I married my High School sweetheart Jeff on September 22 ,1989 ( I was only 18)we have been happily married now for 19 years. We have 2 kids Jake is 17 and a senior at Taylorsville and Lindsee is in the 9th grade at Monticello academy. Jake is planning on joining the Marines after graduation (summer 2009).
I am a certified optician and work for a great eye doctor as the office manager. Jeff works for RC Willey and we both LOVE our jobs.
As many of you may remember when I was a junior I made the decision to drop out of school, MY BIGGEST REGRET!! Well this past summer I received my High school diploma. 19 years later but better late than never. I always felt empty with out it, and ashamed, it was something I was not proud of. But now I can hold my head high.
So much has happened in 19 years I could go on forever.
I am so glad to be reconnecting with old friends, it sure brings back the memories.

Look here...it's only been 19 years!

Sheesh we keep saying 20 years and that would make me a year older than I am...

I have been blessed with 5 wonderful children. My oldest son, Cass, is 16 and very tall!! We also have 13 year old twin boys, Connor and Keegan; a 12 year old daughter, Samantha; and an 8 year old daughter, Cecilia.

John and I have lived in Georgia, Salt Lake, St. George, Missouri, and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He is in the Army and is currently deployed to Iraq. UPDATE!!! John arrived home safe and sound on November 18, 20008!

Anyway, that's me...I'm still the same goofy silly girl I was all those years ago. In fact, I can honestly say that I don't feel any different than I did when I was 17. Smarter maybe, but that's about it! We have another blog here if you want to see more pics or the ramblings of an old woman! http://www.jnaokeefe.blogspot.com/

Stefani Ouzounian Hazelgren

I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since we were in High School.  Talk about feeling old!  A lot has happened since graduating from THS.  I got married in 1993 to my husband, Kerry.  We have 3 kids.  Calan 12, Noah 9, and Chloe 7.  We lived in Utah until almost 4 years ago when we moved to San Jose, California.  My husband was relocated here by Apple Computer where he currently works and loves it!  We love living here in California.  We love the beaches and of course the always mild weather (no snow!)  I am really looking forward to the reunion next summer and seeing all of my old friends that I miss!

Be sure to go check out the Facebook page I created called Taylorsville High School Class of '89. We are getting more classmates everyday!  It's a great place to go and meet and greet old friends.

Wow!! I can't believe it's been 20 years already. I'm looking forward to the 20 year reunion next summer to get caught up with everyone. Thought I would get everyone caught up with my life since graduating from high school. My wife's name is Juliann and we just celebrating our 15 year anniversary this year. We have four children.(Jessica-13 Jenna-11, Jaden-8, and Jason-6.) We currently live in Meridian, Idaho just outside of Boise. Since leaving Utah after graduating from the U of U in 96 we have lived in Missouri, California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and now in Idaho. I recently switched companies about 2 years ago after being with the Hormel Foods Corporation for 13 years. I now work for AB Foods, a beef company, in Boise, ID. Life has been good for the last 20 years. I have many fun memories from Taylorsville. I look forward to seeing everyone next summer and sharing the memories. jcrane65@msn.com
